When volunteering becomes our second nature

We have always supported and congratulated the initiatives taken by our colleagues in the field of social responsibility. This time we want to bring to your attention the MaxBet team from Ramnicu Valcea, which decided that it is never too late to offer voluntarily, without expecting anything in return.

The whole story began on one of their days off, when they met and went to a blood donation center together. Unfortunately, there they discovered that not everyone could be a donor. As the desire to help pushed them from behind, they decided that the money from the blood donation, along with the personal contribution of each of them, should go to a social cause.

After a few searches, they found a family of parents and 4 children aged between 1-21 years old (the 21-year-old boy has a degree of disability), through a help group on Facebook.

The needs of the family in question were many, but after talking to them, they decided to buy them a washing machine, food, clothes and toys for the little ones but also the materials needed to build a fence and a gate.

They made several visits to the family, working alone on the construction of the fence, as can be seen in the pictures below. By far, however, they felt the greatest fulfillment on Easter, when they brought them food but also toys and gifts for the children.

We want that such activities not to remain singular and we constantly encourage our employees to do a good deed, every time they have the opportunity. MaxBet promises to support them, as it did in this case, by sponsoring 5,000 lei for the purchase of food and materials needed for construction.

We thank our colleagues for inspiring us and reminding us that fulfillment and happiness can come in every moment from what we offer to those around us.
