Shoebox - Joy in a box

Many would think that the Winter Holidays only take us into the bosom of family and friends, making us better and more generous, but MaxBet employees preferred, above all, to make happy the families they do not know.

Young and old, we organized and beautifully packed over 300 packages. The action ”Shoebox - Joy in a box” is a tradition of our colleagues, meant to bring some light to children's souls. Each employee played the role of Santa Claus and prepared a gift box with sweets, toys, supplies, clothes and food.

The volunteers of the Christian Hope Foundation were the hopeful helpers, taking over the packages they later took to disadvantaged families in Vrancea County.

So far, 107 gifts have been given to families with at least 4 children, from Garoafa village - 31 packages for 4 families, all with at least one severely disabled member, Bolotesti- 68 packages for families without financial resources and Urechesti- 8 packages for a very poor family, with 4 children, from Vrancea County.

The rest of the packages reached the families from Pardosi and Chiperu villages from Buzau and Jitia counties, Dumbraveni and Chiojdeni from Vrancea county, but also a children's home from Panciu, Vrancea county.
