We adorn with good deeds for the holidays

The winter holidays give us a pleasant feeling, they remind us of family, gifts and pleasant atmosphere, but also of how we can offer others joy.

Yesterday, our colleagues visited the Marius Nasta Hospital, where they played the role of Santa Claus’ elves for 44 children suffering from non-communicable TB, but who need medical care and the supervision of medical specialists. Out of the desire to bring smiles on the lips of children who do not spend their holidays at home, our company has chosen to be Santa Claus for them this year.

”The children hospitalized at the Marius Nasta Institute, mostly hospitalized with the diagnosis of tuberculosis, will receive gifts because Santa Claus is coming for them as well this year. The children always prepare surprises for Santa: songs, poems and they are very happy when Santa's elf comes. Santa's  elf will be with us and will share gifts that they are already waiting for, because they have been preparing for a few days. Currently, almost 50 children with tuberculosis are hospitalized in the medical institution. It is about the headquarters in Lake Bucura (no. - Lake Bucura street), it is the headquarters where we have children's sections because children must always benefit from completely separate circuits from adults. The child's tuberculosis is not contagious, the children being victims of infection and illness from an adult with tuberculosis”, said for AGERPRES the hospital's manager, Beatrice Mahler.

The children, between 0-18 years old, had moments of happiness and joy, especially since the Hospital also brought them two animators, with whom they played.

The moment when the children received their gifts cannot be explained in words. Their small, innocent eyes lit up with happiness, and their enthusiasm and curiosity to see what they received completely overwhelmed them.

We remembered together the innocence of childhood, the moments when we also sat on the edge of our seats when we opened our presents. Sometimes, Santa Claus is not an old man and grizzled, he can be anyone who wants to do a good deed, and this time, it was our colleagues who were involved in this project and who are on the children’s side unconditionally.
