Together we save lives, with the new Heliport from the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital!

We are still under the emotions accumulated today, due to the completion of the largest social responsibility project of 2019, a project in which we have involved body and soul from the beginning. We inaugurated the first medical heliport on the terrace, in Bucharest, built to international standards, at the University Emergency Hospital, whose financing of 1 million euros was fully covered by our company.

"With the help of this heliport, history is being written at the University Emergency Hospital in Bucharest. We mark a series of awards for the good of patients. We swore to save lives, we have a highly specialized medical team, and now we have the most modern heliport in the country. The investment made by MaxBet significantly shortens the time required to save lives, reduces the pressure to which rescuers are subjected. This project is not a real gain only for the inhabitants of the Capital, we are talking about patients from all over the country who will benefit from a fast transport, patients whose lives will be saved in our Emergency Unit and in the operating room", said Adriana Nica, the manager of the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital.

The road to its completion was not easy, but the desire to do good was greater than any impediment we encountered.

The heliport is a first for the Romanian medical system and comes to the help of all patients who urgently need medical care. When it comes to medical emergencies, every second makes a difference and can change destinies. Precisely for this reason, we considered more than necessary the existence of a heliport in the capital, which would significantly shorten the time when patients arrive at the Guard Room, both during the day and at night.

"In this large project for the Romanian health system we had only one major goal: to facilitate the work of the best doctors in Romania and to offer an extra chance to patients in serious and very serious condition, who need highly specialized medical care at the University Center of Bucharest, by shortening the time I get to the Guard Room. The best specialists were involved in this major project, so that this medical heliport becomes a reference point for all hospitals in Romania", said Ioana Bazavan, operational director of MaxBet.

It was a day full of strong feelings for us and we are very happy that we were able to contribute to the improvement of the medical system in Romania. Our social responsibility actions will not stop here and we want to contribute to as many projects as possible, which aim to improve community life.
